I think I'll use this space going forward as a place to try story ideas and hone my writing skills. First, I really need to decide what genre or niche I want to write for and then practice, practice, practice. Personally, I feel drawn to paranormal cozy mystery. Every story works best when there are relationships that impact the outcome and everybody loves a little mystery.

My how time flies when you're having fun.

I was deleting my LiveJournal accounts and checked out this blog.  It's been over 2 years since I posted anything.  The last time I posted was when we moved back to Wyoming from California.  A lot has happened in the intervening two years.  Not going to recap except to say that Wyoming is a distant dream (nightmare) and now I'm in Texas working for a transportation company.  Actually, I do like my job for the most part and it does help pay the bills.  Lots of things I want to do and get but things are slowly getting better by the day.  At least we have a plan and the means to implement it.  More on that later.

So anyway, since I haven't updated lately, you probably don't know that we're leaving LA behind once again and returning to the wonderful state of Wyoming. Much better place to be when the depression/revolution/whatever hits. Soon my pretties, soon.

Monday, Monday

Not much happening. The computers were wonky all day at work but other than that, everything's pretty normal for a Monday. Weather's fine as usual. Probably heading out to the library in a few minutes to see if I can find something to read. Other than that, nothing else to say. Have a nice day.
